Working with existing client A4B NE, we organised and marketed a symposium of industry experts who presented and informed North East business owners regarding businesses regulations and potential opportunities following the easing of the initial stage of Covid restrictions in July 2020.
Our marketing support
Brand creation, website copy, Eventbrite event creation and management, managing partner marketing meetings, email marketing, social media promotions and on the day backup support including main PowerPoint management and coordination of the Q and A session.
Duration
4 weeks leading up to the event on May 21st, 2020.
The challenge
Tight timescales, communication between busy experts (the partners hadn’t worked together before), transferring skills from successfully running physical events to an online platform.
Our approach
Through A4B NE gained a thorough understanding of the overarching theme of the day and what needed to be achieved. Interviewed the experts and got effective soundbites that could be used for the promotions.
Project Specifics
Created an image for the event. Utilised the main themes of the day within the web copy and mirrored the look and feel of the content on Eventbrite and also email and social media promotions.
The outcome
Initially targeted getting 100 delegates signed up for the event. 150 delegates signed up with 4 of the 5 partners getting new clients as a result, as well as invitations from other business support organisations to speak at their events.
The next steps
Due to the success of the event, we are looking at putting on similar events that tie in with the specific concerns business owners have regarding the ongoing effects of Covid on their business and business planning.
